What is MIPT?
The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology is famous for its scientific research, unique educational system, and modern campus. You can choose programs in IT, computer science, fundamental and applied physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, and so on. Professors and experts of 80 on-campus research labs wait for your outside-the-box solutions to global challenges: climate change, biotechnology, cybersecurity.
Why it is worth to participate?
Each final-stage winner and runner-up gets points in the applicant’s portfolio. The points are considered during the admission to MIPT. If you’re graduating from high school this year, you have a competitive advantage in applying for a government grant for tuition-free education!
Who can participate?
High school students of the three final grades from all countries of the world can take part in “Phystech.International”. This is the seventh time the Olympiad is held. More than 30,000 students from over 100 countries have participated in this contest.
How can I participate?
The international competition consists of two stages: the online and the final stage. The event is held completely online for Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Informatics separately.
The online-stage winners and runners-up will be invited to participate in the final stage of the Olympiad in the relevant subject (Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Informatics). The 2021 contest dates are:
• Aug. 9 - Oct. 10 — online stage.
• Oct. 30 — final stage in Mathematics.
• Oct. 31 — final stage in Physics.
• Nov. 5 — final stage in Biology.
• Nov. 6 — final stage in Informatics.
